Arrival

STORY

After the long trailer ride from his own barn to Royal Hunter Stables, Chico's legs were sore and his head hurt from all the noise. As soon as Heather stopped the truck he started kicking the walls and snorting.
"I'm coming, boy, patience," she says.
Heather finally unlatches the back and comes to the escape door. Chico waits for his cue (a poke on the chest) and then backs out of the trailer calmly. 'Just another show, just another new place' he thinks to himself, raising his head slightly to take in the surroundings then lowering it back down and snorting.
"Good boy, Chico."
